ABOUT THE JURY PROCESS | THERE IS NOT FEE TO APPLY
Excellence in any art show is largely determined by the quality, range, and originality of the art selected. The Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center is privileged to jury artwork from talented artists in our region with a panel of appointed SVCAC panelists.
This “blind” jury process ensures fairness, as panelists see only the images submitted by artists. Each artist must submit three digital images of their work and one image of their booth presentation for consideration.
The jurors will review and score each artist’s work collectively. Cumulative scores are tallied, and the top-scoring artists in each of the 15 media categories will be invited to participate in the show. A waitlist will also be created in the event of cancellations.
Vendor Guidelines & Selection Criteria
- All products must be handmade by the vendor.
- Work must demonstrate excellence in craftsmanship, consistency of style, and strong presentation (Please submit good quality images of your work, this is the first impression of what you do)
- Booth setups must be professional and aesthetically pleasing - Vendors who do not submit a booth shot risk not being considered - Incomplete applications will not be considered.
- Vendors are responsible for their own booth materials, tables, chairs, and displays.
- The Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center believes that these criteria, combined with the thoughtful work of our jurors, contribute to a high-caliber show!
Food Vendors & Nonprofits have a separate application.
If selected, SVCAC will contact you regarding payment. Please see the cost breakdown below:
