Vision Statement:
At the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center, we believe the arts are a vital part of a thriving, inclusive community and that access to art and cultural experiences should be available to all.
Our programming reflects our community, the landscape that surrounds us, and the rich, layered history of our region. We aim to create spaces where artists and audiences can come together to explore diverse ideas, share stories, and reflect on both personal and collective experiences.
By engaging in art, we deepen our understanding of one another, honor the histories that shape us, and cultivate a more connected, compassionate response to the world around us.
In July of 2021, the City Council adopted a five year strategic plan for the Cultural Arts Center. The strategic plan focuses on six main areas: Quality of Life; Sustainability; Programming; Marketing, Outreach and Community Partnerships; Facility and Experience; and Arts Leadership and Advocacy.
